Ski Jumping Complex Skalite

The ski jump complex SKALITE, located in the mountain massif, is named after this very massif. This place is an important point for skiing and sports enthusiasts. Here are the details about individual jumps:

1. Normal jump:

   • Construction point: K-95
   • Jump size: HS-104

2. Medium jump:

   • Construction point: K-70
   • Jump size: HS-77

3. Small jump:

   • Construction point: K-40
   • Jump size: HS-44

The complex is equipped with a two-seater cable car that transports the jumpers. Its capacity is 409 people per hour, and the height difference is 95 meters. Additionally, the complex has facilities for freezing the take-off areas, snowmaking, and irrigation.

In the 2023/2024 season, the first-ever FIS Grand Prix World Cup competition took place at the jump with a construction point of K-95 in Szczyrk. This event attracted the best ski jumpers in the world. The competitions on the normal jump were held on January 16-17, 2024. It is a unique opportunity for sports enthusiasts and an exciting event for the entire community.

Furthermore, the SKALITE complex also serves as a training ground for young talents. Ski clubs regularly organize training sessions and competitions for children and youth here, giving them the opportunity to develop their skills and passion for ski jumping.
