Here are some recommended routes, both for mountain bikers and electric bike enthusiasts:
Around Skalite (blue trail): Easy route, suitable for everyone
- Route length: 8 km
- Travel time: approx. 45 minutes
- Description: We start at Bilański Bridge and follow parallel to the green hiking trail to Skrzyczne. Through Zapalenica Estate, we reach the Saddle, then turn left through the Saddle towards the timber haul to Szczyrk Skalite. During this section, we can admire Beskid Mały and part of Beskid Żywiecki, as well as the towns located below the slope. After the mountain section, we enter an asphalt road - Graniczna Street, then return along Deptak Street over Żylica River to Szczyrk Center.
Górka-Bieniatka (blue trail): Difficult route in terms of navigation
- Route length: 9.2 km
- Travel time: approx. 50 minutes
- Description: We start from Szczyrk Center via Wczasowa Street leading to CKiR „Orle Gniazdo”. Next to the Sanctuary of Our Lady Queen of Poland „Na Górce”, we reach the black mountain trail, which through Więzikówka leads to Bieniatka Estate. We descend from the black trail via Szczytowa Street, and then Beskidzka Street back to Szczyrk Center. The route offers beautiful views of the Skrzyczne range and Beskid Żywiecki.
Beskid (yellow trail): Easy route but physically demanding
- Route length: 9.85 km
- Travel time: approx. 1 hour
- Description: We start from Szczyrk Center via Myśliwska Street leading to Upper Szczyrk. Next to the “Euro” store, via Widokowa Street, we reach the Beskidka summit. From there, we can admire the Skrzyczne and Upper Szczyrk ranges, SON routes, and city panorama. After passing the toboggan run, we reach Karkoszczonka Pass and descend Górska Street back to Szczyrk Center.
Skrzyczne - Skrzyczeńska Street: Medium route, physically demanding
- Description: We start in Szczyrk on Skrzyczeńska Street, ascending the road to reach Hala Skrzyczeńska. Then, via a meadow road, we head up towards "Zbójnicka Kopa", the direction shown by the chairlift route. From Kopa, we ride along the ridge towards the Skrzyczne summit.
